What we collect

The quote calculators on this site work entirely in your browser — you can see prices for your team without giving us any contact information. We only receive information when you choose to send it, by submitting one of our forms:

• Contact details — your name, business name, email address and (optionally) phone number.
• Quote details — team size, employee ages, coverage selections and (optionally) salary figures used to price disability coverage. We do not ask for employee names, health information or dates of birth in our quoting tools.
• Context — the page you sent the form from and basic campaign information (for example, which ad brought you here), so we know how you found us.

How we use it

We use what you send us for one purpose: preparing and following up on your benefits quote or meeting request. We do not sell your information, share it with third-party marketers, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.

To place coverage, we may share relevant details with the insurer or plan administrator you ask us to get quotes from (for example, Chambers Plan). That happens only with your knowledge as part of preparing your quote or application.

Where it lives and how long we keep it

Form submissions are delivered to our secure business systems. We keep quote and contact records only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our regulatory record-keeping obligations as licensed insurance brokers, then delete them.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies. Your in-progress quote is stored temporarily in your own browser (session storage) so it isn't lost if you navigate between pages — it is never transmitted to us unless you submit a form.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us at quotes@hivegb.ca or 1-800-000-0000 and we'll take care of it.

This policy describes our website practices under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Insurance applications you complete with an insurer are additionally governed by that insurer's privacy policy.
